Within Chinese medicine, there is a long tradition of using single herbs in alcohol extracts. All of our herbs are organically certified by Marin Organic Certified Agriculture, MOCA, and grown at the Chinese Medicinal Herb Farm near Petaluma in Northern California. In our extracts, we only use organic grape alcohol that has been biodynamically produced. The ratio range is from 1:2 to 1:10; which for the former represents 1 part (in grams) of dry herb to 2 parts menstruum (mL). The menstruum is a 50% Alcohol:50% distilled water ratio. The alcohol is 87% grape ethylene alcohol, Biodynamically grown."
Our products are manufactured in the US. In keeping with our conservation ideals, no endangered species are ever included in our products. Sulfur is not used. It is our belief that the highest quality, freshest ingredients produce the most effective herbal medicine.
Each batch of herbal extracts is limited in terms of production to ensure quality and purity.
